Superhero Training

Calling all SuperHeroes

For active students to train to be our future superheroes, our superhero program is a coed recreational program that combines recreational gymnastics, obstacle courses, fitness and character development. All levels of the program will learn gymnastics skills using a combination of events including: Bars, Beam, Vault, Uneven Bars, Parallel Bars, Rings, High Bar, and a variety of Obstacle Courses. This is not a parkour or free-running class. The skills taught in this program should prepare students for obstacle courses and gymnastics training. This program has a heavy focus on stregnth and flexibility training while buidling problem solving skills, team work, and independence. Students must test to advance from level to level.

SuperHero Origins:

SuperHeroes in training create their origin story each week on the bars, beam, floor, and vault equipment.  This fun class begin teaching coordination and physical fitness along with social development, problem solving, and teamwork! This class is geared for ages 3-4!

SideKicks:

Future heroes begin to work on developing their stregnth, flexibility, problem solving, teamwork and respect. SideKicks start learning the fundamentals of gymnastics and obstacle courses. Students begin working on Bars, Beam, Vault, Floor, and the obstacle course. This class starts at age 5 and is skill based. Promotions are determined by students performance in class accomplishing different skills or scenarios.

Heroes:

Our heroes have now progressed into a more challenging skill based gymnastics program. They continue working on gymnastics events including bars, beam, vault, floor, rings, parallel bars, and obstacle course work. The challenges they face in this program will require more stregnth and flexibility than the SideKicks and include more independent thinking to solve various problems. In addition to skills we continue to work on character traits and devlopment and help children understand what it really means to be a hero in their communities.

SuperHeroes:

SuperHeroes are on their way to reaching the pinnacle of performance. Students in the SuperHero level are learning intermediate gymnastics skills using a variety of events (Floor, Bars, Beam, Rings, Parallel Bars, etc) and working on strength and flexibility. SuperHeroes will be challenged to complete more complicated obstacle courses, both individually and as a team.

Villains:

In the Villains class, our heroes are taught to think like a villain. Only in knowing your adversary can you learn to thwart them! Villains are doing the most difficult Opbstacle Courses, solving the most challenging problems, and using teamwork to develop new obstacles for the SuperHeroes to overcome. That's right, the Villains design the test for the Heroes and SuperHeroes to pass to advance! Students in the Villains class will have excellent teamworking skills and problem solving prowess.
